East Arm Vineyard is located in the Tamar Valley region of Northern Tasmania. Home to the famous Ninth Island and Tamar Ridge it is mainly an area of small producers - eleven in total - but accounts for 40% of all the islands wine.
East Arm, established in 1993, is a boutique winery of 2 ha - one of only two on the east bank - a location that benefits from the river protecting against frost and a climate that allows consistent ripening.
East Arm Vineyard:
An award winning Riesling from one of the most exciting wine regions in Australia. Benefitting greatly from the cool climate vineyards this is classic Riesling - still crisp and lively with petrol overtones and complexity of flavour and structure.
The cool climate conditions are also perfect for the cultivation of great Pinot Noir. With an individual style this wine is a must buy for devotees of the noble grape.
