Riebeck Cellars opened in 1941 in the small town of Riebeek
Kasteel in Swartland, a region of exceptional agricultural
importance and vinicultural potential. Grapes are sourced from the
fertile valley and the mountain slopes where growing conditions
benefit from the Mediterranean style climate.
Riebeek is closely connected to the local community, especially in
sports development and with grey water from the winery used to
irrigate vegetables grown by nearby residents.
Riebeck Cellars:
A Few Good Men Pinotage has spent 12 months in oak and has good ageing potential. It shows dark chocolate and coffee aromas, red cherry fruit and is found to be a great match for Cape Malay food - thus is a red wine suited to light curry dishes.
