Ribera del Guadiana, is within the Extremadura region in the far west of Spain. The DO was officially created in 1999 by combining the six sub-zones that until then had produced Vino de la Tierra.
Pago los Balancines was founded in 2006 by a group of wine enthusiasts, who have now succeeded in their determination to make an impact with outstanding wines.
The vineyards are located in Balancines, a wilderness of the same name, which belongs to the municipality of Oliva de Mérida (Badajoz). This unique place is nestled between two mountains at an altitude of 400 metres making the area a special place to grow the varieties used in the wines. Expertise, great effort and continuous quality control provide the winery with the best grapes, all of which are hand picked. Dedication continues in the vinification; regular tastings of each varietal batch and selecting of the best barrels achieves the perfect blend for the wines.

Crash Blanco is a blend of traditional regional varietals Beba, Verdejo and Macabeo. It is fresh and fruity; packing a powerful, flavoursome palate, full with plenty of weight, balanced acidity and true Mediterranean character.
Crash Rosado is a Garnacha Negra/Cabernet Sauvignon blend; brightly coloured, it has a fresh and fruity nose with a great character of red berries that persist on the palate making it exceptionally easy to drink.
Crash Tinto is an intricate blend that gives a nose of sweet stewed fruit and cloves, a very soft palate of layered red fruit with a chewy mouthfeel and warming finish.
