The North West region of Piedmonte is Italy's pre-eminent area, making top wines such as Barolo and Gavi and showcasing grape varietals such as Cortese, Barbera and Dolcetto.
Gavi Aurora is made from the Cortese grape and classically styled; the delicate lemon colour leads to a complex nose of citrus, apples, pears, wild flowers, and aromatic herbs. The palate is fresh, mineral with an abundance of citrus fruit and a long complex finish.
Barbera Cornale is ruby coloured with light aromas of cherries and a warm, velvety taste of black fruits; well structured, low tannins, smooth and fruity.
