Beaujolais is the home of light red wines made exclusively from the Gamay grape. The Village wine typifies the easy drinking, low tannin style. Fleurie has more fruit and substance while remaining light and silky in the mouth.
Established in 1927 the 'Producteurs de Fleurie' are the oldest established Cave in the Beaujolais region. With over 320 members working 300 ha of the regions vineyards (35% of the Appellation) they produce one third of all Fleurie AC wines.
Cave des Producteurs des Grandes Vins de Fleurie
Fleurie La Madone is an excellent, silky smooth Cru Beaujolais displaying stewed raspberry fruit with a soft sweet finish.
